The park offers significantly more space than its previous home, allowing the festival to expand while maintaining accessibility. Located in the heart of Midtown, just blocks from the previous site. The new location also enhances connectivity. With close proximity to the Midtown MARTA station and direct access to the Atlanta BeltLine, the festival benefits from a natural flow of foot traffic across multiple Atlanta neighborhoods. Whether arriving by train, bike, or on foot, the experience of getting to the festival now feels more integrated into the city itself.

Like any festival adjusting to a new location, there were challenges. Some staff noted that the transition came with growing pains, which is expected in a first-year move of this scale. However, if there’s a festival positioned to adapt and refine quickly, it’s Shaky Knees.
